Our Mission, History and Products
English & Scientific Consulting Kft was founded in 1999 with a vision to provide a reliable tool for dsRNA detection to research scientists around the globe.
Our anti-dsRNA monoclonals J2, K1, K2 and J5 - sold under the brand name SCICONS - became the gold standard for the detection of dsRNA both in cultured cells and fixed paraffin-embedded histological samples.
On 14 April 2021 the SCICONS brand, website, publications database and products were acquired by NordicMUbio BV. All products bar one: We continue to produce a 142bp dsRNA positive control. Please click on the blue button on our homepage for more details.
